Looks much better today. Still very humid, but with a little luck a nice flight should be possible!

Debra want's to fly and takes off around 10 o'clock. Whe can gain some height for a while, then flies out and lands at the official landing zone. I'm looking after our two gils in the mean time. At this point in time most of the cross country pilots have taken off and disappeared on the horizon.

Shortly after 12, Debra takes over the girls and I launch. Little luck, the clouds put a shadow accross most of the valley below and the thermal dies on me. The 150 Meters above take-off are just enough to make a save top landing.

I wait. Finally, a gap in the clouds let the sun break through and immediatly the wind is blowing up the hill side again. I take off and this time make the base. Now I fly in the direction of the Oberengadin. Shortly before Lavin I turn and fly past the launching site in the direction of Martina on the swiss-austrian border.

On the other side of the mountains, in the direction of Klosters, the clouds have grown and it looks like it is raining there. I'm flying in front of a huge shadow, which is covering most of the valley behind me. Somehow I manage to stay high and fly across the valley of Samnaun to Pfunds (Austria). There I get caught by the shadow and narrowly miss the next thermal. I land on the official landing area in Pfunds.
