Like every year, the PARAnoia Paragliding Club went to the 'Engadin' once again. It was flyable yesterday already, but I chose to visit the hot springs together with my family instead, since there where lots of clouds. It turned out to be a good decision, the Cu's covered 8/8 of the sky for most of the day.

Today it did look better. During the first flight I managed to climb above the take off for a short moment only, before I had to land on the official landing site. A few hours later I had better conditions and could reach the base. I started flying up the valley in the direction of the 'Oberengadin'. The dense clouds covered much of the valley and made it difficult to stay up. In Lavin I failed to find a thermal and landed. Urs Herzog and Martin Gassner had a little more luck and managed to return to Scuol.
