My last flying day in Mexico, tomorrow I will take the bus back to Mexico City, where I plan to visit the Pyramids of 'Teotihuacan' and eventually fly back to Europe. This morning Pajaro and I drove to the El Pegnon for the last time. A warm front covered the sky with dense cirrus clouds and the thermals where expected to be weak. Still we managed to get above take off and 'sneak' into the higher grounds behind the launching ridge. The base was low and the thermals weak, we landed shortly afterwards in ione of the many fields. I now almost two weeks in Mexico and today was the first day, wher clouds influenced the sun and the daily thermik cicle. All in all not a bad result. |
Ready for launch, in the background the 'stone' - El Penion.
The wind is perfect - launch at El Penion.
El Penion from above. |
