Take-off at about 11 at the 'El Penion'. I launch as third , the two Chechs which took off just before me, ignore the thermals and land in the valley. I fly to the left as yesterday and can slowly gain altitude. There are nice steady thermals, topping about 5 meters/second. Below me 'Pajaro', a pilot from Columbia takes off. However he has problems finding the thermal and has to land shortly therafter. I'm now at 3200 Meter and start flying in direction of Valle de Bravo.

The next thermal is exactly on the spot where I expected it and brings me back up to the base, this time at 3400 meters. I leave and fly to the next small hill. Now I loose the valuable height very quickly. Down with 4 meters / second and over the smal hill I can not find the much needed thermal. I fly on, but with no luck, I'm now flying with about 60 kilomerers per hour and 4-5 Meters sink.

It not taht easy. Finally I land on a huge, beautiful 'Hazienda'. Now walking is the task. Walking back to the road and catching a taxi once more to get back the last few kilometers to Valle.

At 5 o'clock back up to the 'La Torre' for an evening flight. I fly until the sun disappears behind the horizon. I land last and pack my glider in the dark.

But it is fun :-).
